📐 Centering checker
Checking Synod Sanctum (Mirrodin MRD #252). Take a photo of the front, and we'll measure the borders and show the best grade centering allows.
For the best result: card out of its sleeve, flat on a plain background that contrasts with the border, photo taken straight on and filling most of the frame. Your photo is measured and then thrown away; it's never stored.
Drag the lines if they're off: card edge, where the border ends. Arrow keys nudge a selected line.

Centering is only one part of a grade: corners, edges and surface count too, and this checks the front only (backs are allowed to be much further off, about 75/25 for a PSA 10). Grades shown are the companies' published centering limits, which graders apply with some judgement. Cards printed with a deliberately wider border on one side (e-Reader cards, for example) will read off-centre here. Full-art cards with no border can't be measured.
